Pre-Arrival Information
Event Details
The The Heads of Student Administration Conference 2026 will be held at the Voco Brisbane City Centre hotel. The conference will be held on the Mezzanine Level – Chelsea Ballroom. The registration desk will be in the Ballroom Foyer. The plenary sessions will be in the “Daintree” room, and the breakout rooms are “Ansett” and “Riverview”, and located on Level 1.
There are two ways to access the ballroom foyer (please see floor plan attached):
Preferred access: once you enter through the main hotel front door, go down the hallway that is on the left-hand side of the front desk. At the end of the hallway take the stairs up to the Mezzanine Level and on your right-hand side will be the foyer and registration desk. If you are staying inhouse, this means you need to take the elevator to the ground floor. If you are staying at the Hotel Indigo – you’ll reach the mezzanine level through the hallway connecting the two hotels.
Mobility Issues: if you have mobility issues and need to use the elevator, please use the elevator on the right-hand side of the hotel front desk. This will give you access to the back-entrance of the Chelsea ballroom. This door might be closed, however it is not locked. We will be having AV tests in the room in the morning.
Upon arrival, please collect your name badge at the registration desk located in the Chelsea Ballroom Foyer. The registration desk is open from 10:45 am for delegates attending the Annual General Meeting. The conference officially starts with Welcome Lunch from 12 pm.
